A brief history

Facing today’s challenges requires bold problem-solvers who bring diverse perspectives and are willing to take risks. The Onalaska Equity team was formed to inspire and support our community, driven by the belief that actions speak louder than words. Founded by Onalaska alumni and community members after the murder of George Floyd, we focus on two key goals: 

1. Creating a safe and welcoming environment for people of color in Onalaska

2. Fully preparing ALL students for a diverse world beyond our community
